After months on the market, Philadelphia rapper/actress Eve has finally sold her Hollywood Hills home, according to the Los Angeles Times. The 4,297 square-foot house, which was was built in 2005, sold for $1,325,000. According to records, Eve took almost a $400,000 loss on the home, which she purchased in 2005 for $1,775,000. The original listing price was $2,295,000 when Eve put the home up for sale in January of 2010, just months before the Internal Revenue Service slapped her with a $357,000 lien for being delinquent on her state and federal taxes. Eve has been battling tax problems with the Los Angeles division of the IRS since 2008.

Former rapper Loon will speak in Dubai next month, to celebrate the Muslim holiday Ramadan. Loon, born Chauncy Hawkins, gave up his career as a rapper in 2009, after converting from Christianity, to Islam. The rapper is slated to speak about his conversion to Islam at the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing on August 12th. The event is part of a two-week program that is aimed at shedding light on Ramadan and Islam, while teaching new converters how to pray and fast, while learning Muslim traditions, utilizing Islamic scholars. As a rapper, Loon was part of Sean “P. Diddy” Combs' is Bad Boy Records. He released several hit singles including "I Need a Girl Part 1 and 2," which featured Diddy, Usher and Ginuwine and "Down For Me" featuring Mario Winans.
