B.o.B., the Atlanta-based rapper-guitarist known for his Bruno Mars-assisted song 'Nothin' on You,' has also been known to cross genre lines here and there. According to Singapore-based paper Today -- quote via BET -- the MC might be goin' country.
"I want to produce a country album for a country singer," he said. "I feel like country music has a certain kind of pocket. It all sonically [comes together]. Are you ready to get satisfied sonically?"
B.o.B.'s desire to pull off a country album may have to wait though, as he is currently working on a follow-up to his Grammy-nominated record, 'B.o.B.: The Adventures of Bobby Ray.'
The rapper will be following in the footsteps of Athens, Ga. hip-hoppers Nappy Roots, whose collaboration with the country-fried rhymes of Colt Ford and Nic Cowan made up the summer-ready 'Waste Some Time.'
