Put the rumors to rest. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are not getting a divorce. The Hollywood power couple released a statement denying the erroneous reports.
The Internet was buzzing after In Touch Weekly cited an unnamed source who claimed that the Smiths had separated after 13 years of marriage. A rep for the couple released a statement shutting down the rumors.
“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”
Will’s son Trey even took to Twitter to address the gossip. “Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split! False information … its not true RETWEET!!!” he wrote. “Everyone can think what they want … even if its not true.”
A rep for Jada Pinkett Smith also responded to reports that Jada was having an affair with her “HawthoRNe” co-star Marc Anthony. “All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false,” publicist Karynne Tencer told PEOPLE, while Anthony’s rep added, “We unequivocally deny this. Enough is enough.
There are families involved, children involved, friendships involved. This is NOT true.”
Will and Jada have two children together, 13-year-old Jaden and 10-year-old Willow.
