Big Sean Takes Plea Deal in Sex Abuse Case

Kanye West protégé Big Sean has managed to avoid jail time after being charged with sexually assaulting a woman in upstate New York, back in August.

According to his reports, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper accepted a lesser charge in court yesterday (Oct. 26), pleading guilty to unlawful imprisonment, a misdemeanor and paying a mere $750 fine.

"I am pleased to announce that after further investigation the Niagra County District Attorney's Office decided not to pursue any of the sexual misconduct allegations against Mr. Anderson," Big Sean's lawyer, Scott Leemon, told XXL. "As a result in order to get this entire ordeal behind him Mr. Anderson agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment with a $750 fine. Mr. Anderson regrets any misunderstandings that occurred that day and reiterates he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct."

The incident allegedly took place during a stop the Lewiston, N.Y. stop on Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers tour on Aug. 4, where an unidentified woman claimed that she had been touched against her will by Big Sean and an associate, Willie Antonio Hansbro, who has also accepted the same plea deal.

Both men were arrested and summarily charged with third-degree sexual abuse, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching, but were released after posting $500 bail.

Sean's reps have yet to make a statement regarding the case.
