Ryan Leslie Sued for Not Forking Over $1 Million

When Ryan Leslie had his laptop stolen during a tour through Cologne, Germany back in October 2010, the distressed singer-songwriter-producer offered a $20,000 finder's reward, then raised it to a whopping $1 million.

After he reported his pricey electronic was missing from an unattended Mercedes, the bag containing his precious MacBook was found in a park. Leslie took to social media outlets and interviews to share the news he would offer big bucks for his personal item's return, which contained a valuable library of beats and tracks he recorded. However, the R&B crooner has yet to pay up the promised million after an upstanding citizen found his computer.

A 52-year-old German man who recovered the laptop is suing Ryan Leslie for the $1 million fee plus interest, according to the suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, NY Daily News reports.

After publicly mourning his missing property, tweeting sadly about the "many amazing music & visual projects on that MacBook" and even composing an R&B serenade clip, singing "They stole a little piece of my heart," Leslie isn't really following up on the video pledge.

Armin Augstein found the bag with the laptop a month after it went missing while he was walking his dog in a park.
