An OutKast reunion may be on the back burner, but one-half of the Grammy-winning duo, Big Boi, is moving forward with his next solo project.
The Atlanta MC took to Twitter to announce the title of his sophomore album. “Breaking News !!!!! Title of My Album is Called Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors,” tweeted Big Boi.
The follow-up to his Def Jam debut Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty will feature a collaboration with fellow Southern MCs Big K.R.I.T. and UGK. “I gotta a Record I just finished with Me @BIGKRIT and UGK All on one song. On my new Album,” he shared.
The critically-acclaimed Sir Lucious debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in July 2010 and spawned the singles “Royal Flush,” “Shutterbugg,” and “Fo Yo Sorrows.”
Big Boi’s other half André 3000 is also working on his own solo project. “I’m going to get back to having fun,” said the elusive rapper, who is currently in Ireland filming the Jimi Hendrix biopic.
