Although their collaborative album, Watch The Throne, is the biggest hip-hop album album of the year; Kanye West and Jay-z are heading to court over the bonus track The Joy (off WTT). Soul singer, Syl Johnson, is suing the duo for using his vocals on the track. The sample was only cleared for Kanye’s, G.O.O.D Friday music series, however the track ended up on WTT . Johnson did not appear in the credits and could therefor not collect any royalties.
