Rihanna & Chris Brown Compete for 2011 Soul Train Awards

The 2011 Soul Train Awards finds former flames Rihanna and Chris Brown competing for a trophy in the same category. The exes, whose breakup was made public after a physical altercation between the two erupted, are both nominated for Best Dance Performance for their respective hits 'Only Girl in the World'/'What's My Name' and 'She Ain't You.'

Virgina native CB earned the most nods throughout the 11 categories. With a total of five nominations, Brown also sees himself up for Best Male R&B/Soul Artist, Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

Former Destiny's Child frontwoman and '4' creator Beyonce comes right behind Breezy with four nominations in categories for Best Female R&B/Soul Artist, Best Dance Performance, Record of the Year (The Ashford & Simpson Songwriter's Award) and Album of the Year.

Hosted by Cedric "The Entertainer," this year's show will also feature performances from R&B veteran Keith Sweat, crooners Robin Thicke, Lloyd and Miguel, and songstresses Jill Scott and Melanie Fiona, among others.
