Usher: Tameka Raymond Wants to Take Away His Kids

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond apparently thinks he's an unfit parent and wants to deny him of his parental rights.

Raymond, who married the R&B singer in a private ceremony on Aug. 3, 2007, and divorced in 2009, claims Usher has failed to fulfill legal obligations as a parent, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. During their relationship, the 'There Goes My Baby' creator fathered two children -- Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond -- with Raymond, who served as his personal stylist before their romance began.

In the court documents, Raymond states that her ex-husband has repeatedly traveled outside of the state of Georgia with their kids, an act that he allegedly has never asked her permission for but one that he's legally obligated to get her consent to do.

Also, besides nixing her Saks 5th Avenue credit card, which she claims he promised never to do, she says Usher has failed to get her approval before hiring nannies, give her the first opportunity to watch their children when he's away for more than eight hours, allow her to take the children for two weeks in the summer of 2011 and give her custody of them during Christmas break in 2010.

She also reveals that the crooner was expected to give her $5,000 per month to be used for the hiring of a nanny, however, she says he never paid and owes her $34,000.

A hearing regarding the accusations takes place Nov. 30.

Tameka Raymond's lawyer, Lisa West, offered a statement to theYBF.com, addressing the petition Raymond filed. She states Raymond only filed her petition in response to one Usher filed in January 2011. "Ms. Raymond desires nothing more than for Mr. Raymond to have a relationship and spend quality time with their two children as consistently as possible. She, however, has never been willing to sacrifice their children's safety and welfare in her efforts to forge such a relationship and has vigorously fought to ensure the children are reared in a stable home environment," West said.

"Unfortunately, Ms. Raymond's efforts have caused her to be subjected to repeated instances of retaliation by Mr. Raymond, most especially when she has expressed concerns over his lifestyle and its effects upon their children. Although Mr. Raymond's actions of refusing to abide by the child support provisions and financial terms of the divorce decree are instances of his retaliation against Ms. Raymond, the most evident instance was the custody petition he filed in January 2011 after she refused to allow their 2- and 3-year-old children to accompany him on his tour to Germany and other parts of the world [sic]," she continued.
