After nearly two seasons as a judge on "American Idol," Jennifer Lopez may be calling it quits, AOL Music reports. The singer hinted that she may not return to the popular singing competition show in an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"I really do enjoy it," J.Lo told Ellen of the gig, which reportedly earns her a staggering $12 million each season. Despite the hefty paycheck, the working mother-of-two may have had her fill of the all-consuming commitment. "Now this is my second year -- I don't know if I can go for a third year," she admitted. "I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being 3, but now they're getting more mobile, they're about to go into school ... So I just don't know."
J.Lo's confession follows some warm words of advice she gave to competitor show "The X Factor"s newest judges, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. After hearing Lopez's confession about her uncertain future on "Idol," the advice seems more like a passing of the torch!
With or without "Idol," J.Lo has her plate full, with a new movie, "What to Expect When You're Expecting," coming out May 18, and a 20-city co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias on the horizon.
