Rihanna Could Head to the Studio With Barbra Streisand for Duets Album

Barbra Streisand recently re-upped with Sony Music for a reported $30 million, and if that seems like an ungodly, unrecoupable sum, the label has some plans for cashing in on its investment. According to the New York Post, Babs' bosses are plotting a duets album with younger artists, and Rihanna and Adele are among the whippersnappers being considered for the project.

Such classic-current collabos have worked wonders for Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet, who teamed with the likes of Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse on his Body and Soul album.

The 70-year-old Streisand might also consider recording with Jay-Z. After all, she recently announced plans for her first-ever home-borough show at the Barclays Center, the soon-to-be home of Hova's Brooklyn Nets.
