Jay-Z Brushes Dirt Off His Exec Suit, Joins The Secret Millionaires Club

Rap mogul Jay-Z is taking aim at the animation world by becoming the first celebrity guest star to appear in a new animated special entitled "Secret Millionaires Club", set to premiere next weekend.
Featured in a teaser clip, Jay is shown dropping financial gems on some youngsters.
His 2-D self acts as a business professional and mogul (not much acting there) promoting financial literacy for kids. Dressed in a suit, Hova calls in four young kids and praises them for some work they've done at school, before letting them out to enjoy New York (cue in his song with Alicia Keys. No, really). The new series will feature famous investor Warren Buffet and spread the important message that it's never too soon to learn the importance of "investing in yourself." (E! Zack O'Malley Greenburg, Forbes staff writer and author of the Jay-Z biography "Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went From Street Corner to Corner Office," said Jay has become the "gold standard" to which hip-hop artists aspire when it comes to mixing business and music. "I'd put Diddy and Birdman up there too, but Jay is always at the top of the Cash Kings list because he makes brilliant business moves but keeps putting out relevant music," he told MTV News. "Others [on the list] are more one or the other, but he keeps doing both." (MTV)Not the only rapper with animation credits to his name, hip-hop stars Drake and Nicki Minaj are slated to star in the upcoming Ice Age: Continental Drift flick.
Drake and Beyonce have been added to the cast of the next Ice Age movie. The two pop stars will join Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lopez in Ice Age: Continental Drift. The quartet will star alongside regulars Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo. (Star Pulse)A few months ago, The LOX's Jadakiss revealed his interest in getting into animation.
"I want to do more acting and I want to do voiceovers, too. I want to get in some of these animated joints; that's where the money's at. I think I got the voice. I know I can do it. I can be one of these squirrels... one of these birds, or dolphins or something, or pandas or monkeys, or seals [Laughs]." (VIBE)

The "Secret Millionaires Club" is slated to premiere Sunday, October 23rd via Hub TV.
