The 2012 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas Sunday night (May 20). A slew of music superstars graced the red carpet, performed onstage and went home with a golden trophy.Wiz Khalifa, dressed in a white T-shirt and black blazer, accepted the award for Top New Artist while Beyonce scored the Top R&B Album for her fourth studio LP 4. Lil Wayne was a winner in two categories: Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Album. Chris Brown, who performed "Turn Up the Music at the awards show, grabbed up the Top R&B Artist award and Rihanna earned an accolade for Top Streaming Artist.
