The clip kicks off with XXL executive editor Jayson Rodriguez playing Wayne, portraying him as even more cartoonish than he is in real life. Rodriguez rocks a dreadlock wig and two pairs of glasses, flashing toothy grins as he lip-synchs the 'Intro' portion of the visuals. Amid his mugging, Mariel Concepcion struts around in an exaggerated rump prosthesis, doing her best Nicki Minaj.
Online video director Samtubia Edwards, who co-directed the video, has a somewhat more serious go at Tech N9ne, sporting the rapper's signature warpaint and expertly miming his vocals. Amber McKynzie, meanwhile, mans up to play Andre 3000. The associate editor is on point as the erstwhile Outkast rhymer, looking contemplative and debonair in a bow tie and cardigan.
Editor-in-chief Vanessa Satten also gets in on the gender-bending action, slapping on a fake beard for her turn as Bun B. Next on the faux mic is lifestyle editor Adam Fleischer, who gets into the gangsta spirit with his badass Nas impression. Comic relief comes via Jesse Gissen, who imagines Shyne as a rabbi, referencing the artist's full-on embrace of Orthodox Judaism.
Mark Lelinwalla brings it home with a spirited Busta Rhymes, flashing bling and making a throat-cutting gesture when the music stops, presumably signaling that it's time for everyone to stop clowning and get back to work.
