Wale Uses 'Poetic Justice' in 'Lotus Flower Bomb' Video

Referencing one of his favorite films, Wale revisits Tupac's role in John Singleton's cult classic 'Poetic Justice' in the video for his latest single, 'Lotus Flower Bomb,' from his recently released sophomore album 'Ambition.'

Shot in Atlanta, the TAJ-helmed visual stars 'America's Next Top Model' contestant and model Bre Scullark as the female lead, who suggestively offers persistent mailman Wale the opportunity to smell her 'Lotus Flower Bomb,' during an extended fantasy.

Against a red backdrop, crooner Miguel accompanies the MMG rapper in a Pat Benatar jean jacket (?), as Wale attempts to win Scullark over, while she works behind the counter at a hair salon.

"We wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite love stories, 'Poetic Justice,'" the D.C. rapper revealed to Rap-Up, of the inspiration for the clip. "I play the mailman coming to the salon. It's my acting debut. I feel acting is something I can do easily 'cause I can tell myself that I'm somebody and become them."
