Yelawolf to Machine Gun Kelly: 'Come and Get It'

Yelawolf has a message for Machine Gun Kelly: "If you want it, come and get it."

Those were the Alabama-based MC's words yesterday (Nov. 1) in a radio interview with Las Vegas DJ Bootleg Kev. Yela was responding to charges that he'd dissed Kelly during the recent BET Cypher.

"He's being sensitive if he thinks I'm talking about him," the Shady Records signee said, denying that his lyrics concerning the sudden prevalence of white rappers had anything to do with his supposed Cleveland rival.

"The best thing he can do, if he has something to say to me -- just say my name, dog," Yelawolf said. "This is hip-hop. If you've got something you want to rap about, just rap about it, man."

While he may seem to be beating the drums for a wax war, Yela says he feels no animosity for Machine Gun Kelly. He simply loves the competitive nature of hip-hop, and he welcomes all would-be lyrical challengers.

"If I'm not clear, if you want it, come and get it," he said "Drop your verse. Do whatever you want to do. If you want to take it there, we can take it there, and that goes for anybody else out there. If you're feeling froggy, jump, motherf---er."

"And if you don't, let's have a drink," he said. "We can go out and kick it."
